Description: Survivors say that one of the hardest things about being abused by their intimate partner, or trying to get out and stay out, is dealing with financial troubles.  It’s important for advocates working with domestic and sexual violence survivors of the public benefits available and how new change in funding, policy, and/or political climate could affect these.  Through this webinar attendees will learn about the benefits available to survivors such as child-care, cash benefits, food stamps, etc. and gain insight into navigating benefits as rural, LGBTQIA, and/or immigrant survivors.
