1st Quarterly #ReimagineManhood Convening
CONNECTING THE DOTS: Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and Healthy Masculinity
When: Tuesday, April 17, 2018, 2pm-4pm
Where: YWCA Central Massachusetts, Room 1
1 Salem Square, Worcester, MA 01608
In the United States, April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM). SAAM's goal is to raise awareness about sexual violence and educate communities on how to prevent it. This year's theme is "Embrace Your Voice". In this convening we will focus on how we "Embrace All Our Voices", we will explore and converse about the strategies community-based, state agencies, and communities are using to engage men and boys in prevention. #ReimaginingManhood convenings are meant to build from everyone's knowledge and experience and increase attendees awareness, capacity, and proficiency in achieving gender equity, racial justice, and healthy masculinities in their local communities.
