2nd Quarterly #ReimagineManhood Convening

When: August 21, 2018, 2pm-4pm

Where: YWCA of Central Massachusetts in Worcester

About the Convening: While ending violence in our communities is going to take all of us, it is also critical that men and male identified folks connect with one another and unpack understandings of masculinity together in order to deepen knowledge, skills, and awareness at the personal, interpersonal, institutional, and cultural levels of social change.

To that end, instead of our regular #ReimagineManhood Convening, we are going to try something new on August 21st and host a Reimagining Manhood Circle. The Circle is designed to co-create a space for male identified folks doing gender-based violence prevention work that promotes healthy masculinities in order to deepen our own individual, cultural, and institutional understandings of masculinity through storytelling and sharing in the circle process. To learn more about Circle process, please click here.

This meeting is intentionally designed for male identified folks only, We think it is important to create this space in order to have authentic discussions about our work and commitment to changing these dynamics.

If you’d like to learn more before the Circle, we are hosting a call Tuesday, August 14th at 3:30pm.  You do not need to register in advance for this call or participate in the call in order to attend the Reimagine Manhood Circle itself.  To join the call, please click this link https://zoom.us/j/539882470 or dial 1 646 558 8656 Meeting ID: Meeting ID: 539 882 470
