Training Description: 

Join Outreach Counselors from the MassSupport Network for a discussion on stress, trauma, and how to cope during a challenging time like the COVID-19 pandemic. We will talk about how stress can show up in our thoughts, emotions, and bodies and how to discern between what we can and cannot control. Topics will include how to take care of ourselves while also taking care of our loved ones and the communities and families we serve. 

About MassSupport: 

MassSupport is a statewide pandemic counseling program funded by the Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) and managed in partnership between the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health and Riverside Trauma Center. MassSupport provides emotional support, coping strategies, resources and up-to-date information during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their program is anonymous, confidential and free. Massachusetts residents can reach out to MassSupport by leaving a message at 888-215-4920 or sending an email to MassSupport@riversidecc.org. They respond Monday - Saturday, 8 AM - 8 PM.
